Christianity and Buddhism by Gordon Peerman, D. Min.

In this inter-spiritual conversation, Gordon Peerman examines the similarities between the teachings of Jesus Christ and the Buddha. He also considers how Buddhist meditation techniques can be of benefit to Christians, and vice versa.

Bio: Gordon is an Episcopal priest and psychotherapist in private practice in Nashville, Tenn. He teaches Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction at Vanderbilt’s Center for Integrative Health and is an adjunct faculty member at Vanderbilt Divinity School, where he teaches a class in Buddhist Christian Dialogue.

Phillip Moffitt

At the peak of his career, former CEO and Editor-in-chief of Esquire magazine, Phillip Moffitt, traded in his worldly aspirations to explore the inner life. He subsequently founded the Life Balance Institute and now teaches vipassana meditation with an emphasis on living the dharma in daily life. Phillip is a co-guiding teacher at Spirit Rock Meditation Center and the author of Emotional Chaos to Clarity and Dancing with Life.
