Yoga and Buddhism by Meg Agnew

Although the Buddha taught the importance of nonattachment to the body, he also emphasized using mindfulness of the body to discover the dharma. The practice of yoga can help you develop the capacity to stay mindful of the body in every moment. In this blog, Meg Agnew explores how yoga and Buddhism complement each other.

Bio: Meg is a graduate of the Mindfulness Yoga and Meditation Training at Spirit Rock Meditation Center and is currently participating in Spirit Rock's Community Dharma Leaders training program. Meg leads the Dharma Wisdom Seattle Sangha and teaches yoga and meditation at Seattle Yoga Arts and Om Town Yoga.

Phillip Moffitt

At the peak of his career, former CEO and Editor-in-chief of Esquire magazine, Phillip Moffitt, traded in his worldly aspirations to explore the inner life. He subsequently founded the Life Balance Institute and now teaches vipassana meditation with an emphasis on living the dharma in daily life.
